You you run a number of specific procedures with As Ssd Benchmark to assess the performance of your Ssd drive.
Without using the cache, test the read / write performance in sequential or random order. A 1 Gbyte file and 4k slabs are read and written by As Ssd Benchmark. However, it determines the Ssd’s’s access time and runs the evaluations on 1 or 64 strands.
By using your Os’s’s cached copy operations, you can read and write data depending on how compressible it is. These two additional yardstick tests look at how the drive behaves when copying a small number of large paperwork, many smaller ones, and different file sizes.
