The Mapwindow Gis app is a free, open-source, extensible geographic information system( Gis ) that can be used to share data with others or create and distribute unique spatial data analysis tools.
Standard Gis data visualization features, as well as information converters, Formats ascribe desk editing, and exchanger redaction are all included in the apps. Numerous common Gis types, such as Shapefiles, Geotiff, Esri Arcinfo Ascii, and binaries grids can be used with Mapwindowgis.
The user interface is fairly straightforward and simple to use. A chart region, a story window, and an preview-map panel are all part of the default layout. Additionally, there are built-in toolbar buttons that let you create, save, empty project files, navigate, and print maps.
